Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 26, 2026 · Provider: Need · Contact: cue@dialchad.com

Starslip (“the app”) is a steerable warp-speed starfield with a planet launcher and a bundled rhythm game, made by Need. This policy explains what the app does with information. In short: the app does not collect any data about you.

Summary

Information stored on your device

To keep things the way you left them, the app saves the following locally on your device only: starfield settings (speed, star density, color and similar options), the planets you add and the links or apps you choose for them, and your game progress (best scores, points, upgrades and your current level). This information is not uploaded, shared or backed up by Need. Deleting the app removes it.

Network use

The app does not contact Need’s servers or any analytics, advertising or tracking service. It does not look up or send usernames, posts or other content.

Links to other apps and websites

If you link a planet to a website or another app, or tap a link in the game, it opens in Safari or in that other app, outside Starslip. Whatever you do there is covered by that website’s or app’s own privacy policy, not this one.

Permissions

Starslip doesn’t ask for access to your location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone or other personal data. It uses light haptic feedback on supported devices.

Children

Starslip doesn’t collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes

If the app’s handling of information ever changes, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date before the change ships.
